First, let me apologize for the title. I was going for something somewhat clever, a play on my love of books, current pop culture and the dominant part of my life, being in love and married, from which many of my adventures stem. This was the best I could do and since I plan on pursuing this blog thing for real this time, I think it will probably stick, as frequent name changes lead to confusion. So, I'm sorry, but you'll just have to get used to me dropping the occasional corny pun or pop culture reference that I find oh-so-witty.
Now that that's out of the way, let me tell you my plan for this blog. I've made 2 previous attempts at blogging and they petered out. I think this was the case because I pigeon-holed myself too much, or I lost interest, or I just didn't have enough confidence in myself to put my writing/opinions/observations out there. Well not to be arrogant, but I just don't care anymore. I love the idea of putting my thoughts into words and sharing them with people who might appreciate or at the very least have an opinion about them.
So here's what you can expect from this blog. I will be posting about food/cooking that I'm trying, books, television or movies, funny anecdotes from my everyday life, music and I'm sure occasional self-indulgent rants on things that frustrate me, because after all, isn't that one of the perks of blogging? Basically, this will be a peek into my head, hopefully with better editing.
So I hope you enjoy my musings, I hope that it is entertaining and I hope I keep it up because otherwise, I'm NEVER going to write that novel on my bucket list.
